Just wanted to share my recent stay at Megaboom City Hotel in Sydney - it was absolutely amazing! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with such warmth and hospitality that I knew it was going to be a memorable experience. The rooms were super spacious, elegantly furnished, and had everything I needed for a comfy stay. And can we talk about the bedding? It was so plush and cozy, I had the best night's sleep! Big shoutout to the staff - they were incredible. The receptionists made check-in a breeze and even upgraded my room for free, plus they let me check in early! And James from housekeeping was an absolute gem - my room was always spotless thanks to him. The best part about the hotel was its location - right in the heart of the city! I could easily stroll to iconic spots like the Opera House and soak in its beauty, catch a show, or explore the nearby museums for a dose of culture. And let's not forget about the shopping! There were so many great shopping centers nearby, perfect for a bit of retail therapy. Overall, my stay at Megaboom Hotel was nothing short of amazing. The location, amenities, and service were top-notch, and I can't wait to come back on my next trip to Sydney. Cheers!

Staff were friendly and helpful. They happily delivered slippers up to my room when I had inquired about it over the phone. Normally you collect it yourself from the reception desk, which I had planned to do at my convenience, so I was really pleasantly surprised with the gesture. They provided everything we needed to have a comfortable stay. The rooms are cleaned daily and towels replaced. They provide door signs if you didn’t require the service. They are also conveniently close to shops and transport. Check in and check out were very quick and smooth. Overall a perfect weekend spent. Thanks Megaboom for having us!

Excellent location. It is very easy to go to all the attractions in and nearby Sydney. A supermarket and pharmacy are just across the road. Staff are friendly and helpful. I arrived in the morning. My orginal plan was to leave my luggage there first and check-in in the afternoon. But the staff kindly allowed me to check-in in the morning which is very helpful. My room was clean and comfortable. I booked 4 nights there and was very happy. So I cancelled my booking in the other hotel and stayed extra a night in this hotel.

Coles supermarket (fresh food, fruit, affordable ready-made meals, drinks, pastries, fresh coffee) and Priceline Pharmacy across street. QVB (Queen Victoria Building) at the corner (shops, fast food, cafes and restaurants — recommend Cellini’s!). Town Hall train station just down the street. Light rail one street over - so easy to get to Circular Quay & Sydney Opera House. Short walk to Darling Harbour.

For an overnight very short stay to attend a dinner and concert invitation it was well situated, within easy walking distance and had everything I required - comfortable bed, soft pillow, TV, Wi-Fi, kettle, good shower. The check-in and check could not have been quicker as my room was close to Reception on the 1st floor. The room might be considered too small for a king-sized bed, but the ceiling was high, so it didn't feel box-like. There was a large window, but I didn't need 'a room with a view'.
